On February 21, 2023, the Rajalakshmi Engineering College held an event in the Purple Hall from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm. Attended by students and faculty members from the Bio-Medical department, the event focused on raising awareness about road safety. The esteemed chief guest, Mr. R. Krishnan, a motor vehicle inspector from the Regional Transport Office in Sriperumbudur, shared his valuable insights and experiences, emphasizing the importance of road safety and offering valuable advice to the students. Through interactive sessions, informative presentations, and real-life examples, participants gained a deeper understanding of road risks and preventive measures. The event aimed to inspire responsible road practices and adherence to traffic rules. The event empowered students with knowledge and encouraged them to promote road safety among their peers and the wider community. It served as a crucial step in fostering a culture of responsible road usage and prioritizing the safety of all.
